App-Happy? Introducing the Chicago Trolley & Double Decker Co. App
We’re pleased to announce the debut of the Chicago Trolley Tour App. This free app is meant to engage a variety of our riders, offering guests the option to follow along with our tours in English, Spanish, Chinese, German, and Portuguese. The app is available now in both iTunes and Google Play stores.
It’s Going Down (Town) Tour
Are museums your thing? Take the green tour for a spin and visit Chicago’s most prized civic institutions; you’ll find the Art Institute, Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Millennium Park and Maggie Daley Park along this route.
Experience a new view of Chicago with the red tour’s stops at the John Hancock Center and Navy Pier. 360 Chicago and Navy Pier’s new Centennial Ferris Wheel. All these attractions uniquely engage visitors with unobtrusive interactive media that add to their already stunning perspectives of the city.
While riding the red tour, don’t forget to explore Chicago’s finest shopping district, the Magnificent Mile. The Magnificent Mile features a variety of high end stores, including everything from Burberry and Apple to Harley Davidson and Lush. Get all dolled up for a tea time and treat the doll lover in your life with a visit to the American Girl Store at Water Tower Place.
The Museum of Science and Industry and more!
Get a taste for Chicago’s south side with stops at the Museum of Science and Industry as well as Chicago’s historic Chinatown neighborhood. Chinatown offers many amenities, including a variety of Asian boutiques and cuisine.
Grabbing lunch in Chinatown makes for a great “build up” to visiting Brick by Brick, the Lego exhibition currently on display at the Museum of Science and Industry through September 4th.
Sporty, Wild, and Fashionable: The Wrigleyville/Lincoln Park Zoo Tour
Step up your game by taking a trip to Chicago’s north side. Chicago Trolley is an amazing way to see your favorite Chicago sites before escorting you to historic Wrigley Field to catch the World Series Champion Chicago Cubs in action.
